The Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, a long time client of Angie Meeker Designs, requested a niche website for its annual telethon featuring 12 of it’s most wanted criminals with the ability for site visitors to make a donation to the capture of individual criminals. Donors had the option of displaying the amount of their donation along with a note about why they chose to donate to the capture of that particular criminal. The latest donations and notes were displayed in the sidebar, along with a running total for the telethon. We also enabled the Central Ohio Crime Stoppers PayPal Virtual Terminal for the terminal so they could take credit card donations over the phone, using their PayPal account during the telethon. The turnaround time for the site was just two days.
