Many businesses know of WordPress as a blogging platform, but aren’t familiar with its more powerful (and more common) uses as a Content Management System. When the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Worthington asked us to rebuild their website, we knew the final product would look more like “WordPress as a CMS” than their previous build. The end result looks very similar to the previous website, but structurally, is very different.
Can we just agree that most Real Estate Websites are awful? Your MLS doesn’t know the intricacies of the neighborhoods in your city like your local real estate agent does. Unfortunately, the average real estate website only embeds MLS listings with an iframe, which doesn’t allow you to search the unique neighborhoods which are likely not even listed in the MLS. For the real estate agent, the embedding of MLS listings is even worse, as it does nothing for the search engine ranking of that agent’s website. Those individual listings embedded with an iframe aren’t even viewable to search engines. For Columbus real estate brokerage Delicious Real Estate, we avoided all of those issues and created an amazing WordPress real estate website using integrated IDX listings resulting thousands of new views each month.
Referred by a previous client, the Communications Team at Clintonville Academy asked us to redesign their existing HTML website using WordPress which, of course, is our specialty. We were most excited to offer them a unique version of WordPress called WordPress Multisite, which allows for multiple unique installations of WordPress which share the same users, themes, plugins and can even share content. This is very useful for the education sector because it allows us to give the school itself a unique website, but also each teacher or coach a website, too, all housed under one administrative dashboard for the school’s website administrator.
